Chrism Mass Information

The Archdiocese of Dubuque's 2023 Chrism Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 4 at 2:00pm at the Cathedral of St Raphael (231 Bluff St. Dubuque, IA 52001).

At this Mass, the Archbishop blesses the oil of catechumens and oil of the sick, and consecrates the Sacred Chrism used at all parishes throughout the year. All of the faithful of the Archdiocese are invited to attend and participate in this great diocesan liturgy.
