ICYC - Iowa Catholic Youth Conference

Registration costs are non-refundable and will be accepted until one week prior to the event. The ticket price is for both youth and adult tickets.

There are two ways to register for ICYC '24. You can either register as a Parish Group or as a Family Group. 

A Parish Group is organized on behalf of a parish (cluster or school). In order to register as a Parish Group, there must be a designated Group Leader with whom event planners will communicate. Additionally, group leaders must commit to the following:

• Finding Chaperones (1 for each 5 youth participants, with a two adult minimum)
• Ensuring Chaperones are Safe Environment Compliant
• Complete Registration Process on behalf of all members of your parish.
• Ensure that there is a Lead Chaperone (if the Group Leader will not be present) who will be responsible for the group on the day of the event.
• Collect Event-specific Liability Waivers for each youth and adult in your group. Parish leaders are to bring two copies to the event, one that parish leaders have for travel and to retain at the parish after the event, and one to turn in to event leaders at event registration.
• Submit names and birth dates of Chaperones (for Safe Environment verification) to event planners no later than March 11, 2024.
• Parish groups can include other adults (e.g. a parent who wants to attend with his/her child, but not as a chaperone) who are not Safe Environment compliant as long as they are not in a supervisory capacity.
• Communicate any dietary restrictions to Event Planners no later than March 11, 2024.

Family Group Option
If your parish is not organizing a group to go, you can still attend by registering as a family group. 

A Family Group is one family unit where a parent(s) attends ICYC with children from their household. In order to register as a Family Group, a parent/guardian must complete the registration process for their family. One parent/guardian must stay at the event for the duration of the event. All liability waivers must be complete by the parent/guardian(s).

If children from another household would like to join this family, they can request that the parish authorize them to organize a parish group. If you would like to change your registration from a Family Group to a Parish Group, please contact Event Planners. 

Be sure to check with your parish to see if they will be bringing a group before registering as a family.

Parish groups should make a copy of these forms to turn in when they arrive at ICYC. They should keep the originals with them for the return trip home and store at their parish/school.
