ICYC Parish Registration

• - Our parish will find at least two adults who are Safe Environment compliant for the first ten young people attending with our parish group, and another Safe-Environment compliant adult for each additional five youth. (For example, 11 youth need 3 SE compliant adults, 24 youth need 5 SE compliant adults)
• - We will provide the names and birthdate of our Safe-Environment Compliant adults to event planners no later than March 21, 2022.
• - Parish groups can include other adults (e.g. a parent who want to attend with his/her child, but not as a chaperone) who are not Safe Environment compliant as long as they are not in a supervisory capacity. (NOTE: These adults and their children do NOT purchase tickets separately as a family. They are part of the parish group and their tickets are purchased by the parish.)
• - Parish leaders are to collect liability waivers for each participant (youth and adults). Parish leaders are to bring two copies to the event, one that parish leaders have for travel and to retain at the parish after the event, and one to turn it to event leaders at event registration. Forms can be found at www.IowaCYC.org.
• - Parish groups who wish to have printed name labels available when they arrive at ICYC should send a list of all participants (noting youth or adult for each participant) to event planners no later than Monday, March 28, 2021.
• - Parish leaders should let event planners know of any special dietary/allergy/medical needs or restrictions by Friday, March 25, 2022.
• - Tickets are non-refundable*. A parish is obligated to pay for the tickets purchased even if they select the “bill me” option.
• - Parish leaders can complete additional purchase requests should their group size increase. We recommend that you only purchase tickets for those who are currently committed to attend. Return to this site as often as needed to purchase more tickets.
• - Ticket sales will close on Friday, March 25, 2022. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

COVID-19 MITIGATION Policy and Procedures

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. ICYC organizers cannot guarantee that participants will not be exposed to COVID-19. By attending ICYC, participants (and their parents) acknowledge they have evaluated and agree to assume the inherent risks associated with COVID-19.

To help protect participants to the degree possible from COVID-19 infection, the following public health protocols are in place:

• Participants are encouraged to be vaccinated and to closely monitor their health prior to attending.
• Parish Leaders are encouraged to do a health screening with their group prior to departing.
• Facial coverings indoors, except when eating or drinking.
• Social distancing, when possible.
• Hand sanitizer stations available.
• Denied access for those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (with refund available for those who request one).

ICYC organizers reserve the right to amend these policies based on local requirements and recommended best practices. Any changes prior to the event will be reflected on this webpage.
