Follow the links below to find helpful information about planning for Totus Tuus at your parish.
If you have questions that cannot be answered from these documents, please contact the Archdiocesan Totus Tuus coordinator, Joanne Pohland at 563-556-2580, ext. 255 or j.pohland@dbqarch.org. We will help you in any way we can!
Are you a college-age man or woman who would like to serve the Church! Do you know any college age men and women from your parishes who would be great role models to younger Catholics?
The Archdiocese is looking for college-aged disciples of Jesus to serve on teams with other men and women like them during the summer of 2021. Totus Tuus missionaries serve parishes across the Archdiocese throughout the summer leading songs, teaching, performing skits, and sharing witness talks with the children and youth of the Archdiocese.
This is a paid position with training and most expenses provided during the summer. Please encourage anyone who would be excellent at this to apply. The application, and more information, is in a Google Form that can be accessed by clcking here.
Contact Joanne Pohland (j.pohland@dbqarch.org) with any questions.
We are looking forward to Summer 2021 and Totus Tuus!
It is now time for parishes to sign up for Totus Tuus 2021! Totus Tuus is a week-long catechesis and evangelization program for children and teens. A team of four trained missionaries will come to your parish and serve your children during the day and your youth in the evening.
The information for the Totus Tuus Parish Coordinator: Part 1 can be found by clicking on the link below.
As always, the best way to ensure that there are enough teams for every parish that requests one is to encourage college-age young people to apply to be a 2021 Totus Tuus Missionary. The application information can be found below.
Please contact Joanne Pohland at j.pohland@dbqarch.org or (563) 556-2580, ext. 255 with any questions.
The Totus Tuus Grades 1-6 Program is designed for children entering first through sixth grades in the upcoming school year. The Grades 1-6 Program begins on Monday and concludes on Friday.
The sacred scriptures and the Catechism of the Catholic Church provide the foundation of the catechetical instruction of the Totus Tuus summer program. The topic for 2019 is “The Sacraments”. In addition, 2019 is dedicated to The Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary.
View a short overview of the Totus Tuus Grades 1-6 Program…
Totus Tuus offers an evening program for middle school and high school youth. Middle school youth are those entering grades 7 and 8, and high school youth are those entering grades 9-12 for the upcoming school year. These grade levels meet Sunday through Thursday evenings.
The middle school students will join the high school students for the evening program; however, when group attendance allows, their classes will remain separate to maintain an atmosphere and discussion level that is appropriate for each age group.
