"Surviving Divorce: Hope and Healing for the Catholic Family" is a parish-based support program for separated and divorced Catholics from Ascension Press, written and presented by Rose Sweet. The objective of the program is to assist participants to move through the emotions of their loss to acceptance, healing, and forgiveness. Healing takes place in peer support groups guided by a trained facilitator.
The Surviving Divorce approach helps participants find healing through hearing from experts and those who have experienced divorce in the video content of the program, along with sharing with others in the group who have experienced the same loss. A participant’s guide provides exercises, questions, and activities for each week of the twelve week long program.
More information about the program may be found by clicking here.
