Update: 4 April 2022
Nearly 16,000 households participated in the Archdiocesan Synod Survey on parish vitality. This far surpassed our expectations.
Your honest and constructive input will help map the plan as we work to ensure strong parish vitality in the years to come. Thank you to all those who participated.
We are now working to analyze the wealth of information provided by all who participated. A report to the archdiocesan family will be sent to all households later this spring.
Please continue to pray for all involved in this important undertaking that the Holy Spirit will direct their work.
"Synodality is a process of consulting, arriving at a decision, and then communicating the results. And a Synod is the gathering of people for the process of synodality. ... Basically, the Pope wants us to talk about talking, listening, and decision-making in the Church. ... in the Archdiocese of Dubuque we’ll talk, listen, and proceed to decision-making about the topic of the parish community..."
